How I work: I write intuitively, letting the energy of our exchange guide the words.

My inspirations: My work is inspired by transpersonal experiences, Jungian psychology, nature, and time. Influences include Ada Limón, Charles Bukowski, and Mary Oliver.

I started writing my “FEELINGS” poems in September of 2024.

Almost every day when I went onto the street and sat down at my typewriter to write poems for people, I wrote a poem for myself about what I was feeling at the moment, and numbered it.

Late this August I wrote “FEELING #100,” taking a moment to celebrate the journey so far. Also included is “FEELING #001,” honoring the anxiety that comes along for the ride.

And a picture of late-blooming beach roses, taken early this October, mi ofrenda a la gente maravillosa who have helped make my experience writing poetry on the street so magical. ✨
